At a moment of globalization and the restructuring of the world order, the Asia-Pacific region is one of the world’s most dynamic and creative. Its artistic activity is capturing international attention and is quickly becoming one of the major focuses of the construction of the new global situation. Asianvibe presents the works by a number of East and South East Asian artists yet, far from attempting a representative or comprehensive vision of contemporary Asian creation, it chooses to display individual postulates by a generation which has defined the most important artistic creations of the last decade, undoubtedly the most dynamic and fertile in recent times.
