LABORATORIO DEL MUNDO VIBRANTE . APRIL 5. 10.00h -14.00h
ARTIST: Peter Bosch & Simone Simons
Participants in this workshop will be able to intuitively explore the world of vibration and resonance by modifying and controlling robots/creatures mounted on metal springs that generate surprising movements and rhythms. At the end of the workshop there will be a small concert with all the participants. Bosch & Simons have been working in the field of sound art since 1985 and have created various works in which vibration and resonance are the protagonists. In these ‘musical machines’ they use industrial electric motors to generate vibrations of different frequencies. Mounted on springs, the works are set in motion by resonance. ARTIST: Luis Bernat
Pattern making, sewing and ‘Live music’ will be essential parts of the exhibition of the designer Luis Bernat. Through his project Panoramic Lab, Luis introduces us to his ‘ESPACIO RARO’, which combines fashion, art and music in the same place that represents his inner world, inviting the audience to be an active part of the narrative. The public is enveloped in a multi-sensory environment with live art, live music and interactive zones that evolve throughout the space. On 11, 12 and 13 April, garments will be made using scraps of different materials to emphasise recycling and sustainability. This will be the designer’s main activity, accompanied by live DJ sets and workshops on the printing of the garments themselves. This space consists of the representation of the designer’s mental disorder and creating his perfect space to make new garments and concepts. Being an immersive space, the concept of the space is based on getting inside Luis Bernat’s head and participating in his daily activities. For this, traditional Japanese elements will be included, which will represent one of his frustrated dreams.

The objective of this workshop is to learn to flow by manipulating electronic sounds through a combination of digital and analog synthesis, focusing on musical creativity through sound design, programming rhythmic patterns and composition in real time, leaving our work ready for recording and live performance. We will approach the creative and practical process based on the creation of ‘IE.ngle’ (published musical work), analyzing its compositional parts separately, as well as the interconnection and synchronization of the hardware used (Elektron Model: Cycles, Moog Mother-32, Arturia Keystep, mixing desk and effects/processors) and its staging.
