This Prototype of a space for managing emotions in the hospital is an ambitious project of collaboration between the art centre and a hospital. In principle, these are institutions with very different functions and interests, but both are necessary to attend to and cover the needs of citizens in the development of their lives in the community.
As he has been developing in other previous projects, Josep-Maria Martín’s work contributes, from art, new strategies of intervention in certain structures that are consolidated in today’s society but not for this reason lacking in fissures. With a more reflexive than critical will, his pieces emphasise the idea of process and negotiation, thus allowing the participation of other agents who become true generators of a common project.
