Workshop series for children and families.
Pantonas is the artistic daring of 4 prestigious painters from Castellón before a sincere, neutral and unadulterated public. It is the fusion of the concept of color “pantone” with the female gender, is the opportunity and recognition of 4 panthers. Pantonas comes from the hand and artivism of Formiguer Producciones, which on this occasion puts on the suit of mediator to develop and promote imaginary and free spaces under an anti-adultist look favoring education, art and culture. Pantonas is an artistic and collaborative cycle that will give rise to a unique and essential tonality in social transformation reaching diversity through leisure/play.

YO, ANIMAL. SARA BELLÉS. APRIL 5. 11.00h – 13.00h
“Yo, animal” is an introspection project. A search for personal identity. A set of metaphors. The exercise consists of creating a self-portrait on a white cardboard, doing some introspection and with the help of a mirror. On our head we choose an animal that reflects one of our characteristics (fox-astute, bird-free, lioness-protective, etc.). Each one can choose whether to draw the animal or use a photo by sticking it on the head. With these two elements a collage is assembled, gluing it on a gray cardboard and finishing by subtly painting it with watercolors.

In this workshop we will learn how to create and distinguish MOPPER gray from MOUSE gray, do not get confused, it has nothing to do with VISON gray. You will never again have doubts if someone asks you: Is that MARENGO gray over there? STEEL gray, LEADER gray, SMOKE gray, FOG gray: your time has come! To make it happen, we will create our trusted gray chart, the palette that everyone will want to have and that you will cherish forever. Our main tools will be graphite and charcoal. Of great help will be the erasers, rags and sandpaper to create different textures and some final glaze to give the final touch.
UN PERSONAJE MUY EXQUISITO. VERÓNICA FABREGAT. MAY 3. 11.00h – 13.00h
In the workshop we will create impossible characters through play and chance. Using crayons, collage and our imagination, we will design our own characters (one of the most important parts in the creation of a book). But we will not draw alone, we will use the Exquisite Corpse technique, coming from French Surrealism, in which the character is created as a group. Each member of the group will draw a part without seeing the rest. This way it will be very difficult for us to guess the result, and when we finally unfold the sheet … ta-da! What will that impossible character look like?
PAREIDOLIA: MARIONETAS EXPERIMENTALES. ROCÍO RODRÍGUEZ . MAY 17 . 11.00h – 13.00h
We will explore textures in paint, cutting and composition in collage to create fantastic beings on paper. Starting from an image created with the mirror technique in paint, in the style of Rorschach blots, we will use our imagination to see a face in this random result. Then we will perfect and detail it by adding eyes, legs, wings, legs, antennae, fangs, glasses, etc. to the cardboard that we will have previously textured with paint and added details in felt-tip pen. These parts will be movable as they will be attached with paper pins. The aim is for each of us to create a different fantastic being, a paper puppet that will surprise us. A moment of expression and creation that combines spontaneity, chance and reflection.
