L’Espai d’Art Contemporani de Castelló is a centre for the production and dissemination of contemporary art that depends on the Institut Valenciá de Cultura.
centre for the production and dissemination of contemporary art

It aims to be a centre where the different aesthetic and cultural currents that make up the contemporary world converge, a place that encourages a participative and committed attitude on the part of society that helps to transform the existing links between creative activity and everyday life, a laboratory of ideas and projects whose objective is the knowledge and questioning of its own era
Since their inauguration in 1999, it has been formulated as a space for thought where creative perspectives, both local and international, converge in dialogue with the present.
Due to its proximity to other cultural and educational containers in the city, it is located in an essential cultural site for the citizens and the area. These two concepts are understood as the fusion of diversity and interests that makes up society as a whole.
